Matias Lequi, who left Celta Vigo at the start of the season is on brink moving to a Premier League side.

Lequi, 27 has been linked with AEK Athens and Bristol City before. However, Bristol City's manager, Gary Johnson stated that it is unlikely to sign him. Johnson said, "He's a player we're aware of, but not one we have spoken to."

Lequi is said more interested to sign with bigger club, perhaps a Premier League club.
