Latest Transfer Rumour - Inter Milan has declared interest to sign Arsenal's Robin Van Persie. Van Persie is rumoured to leave the Premier League side after he rejected their new contract offer.

Arsenal offered £65,000 a week contract to Van Persie but he rejected. Van Persie is asking for £80,000 a week. Van Persie also wanted to know the club's ambition in the future.

Inter Milan's manager Jose Mourinho has asked Arsenal about the player.

Van Persie did not perform at his best with Arsenal recently. He believes that he can win medals. Unfortunately that is not going to happen with Arsenal this season. He might leave Arsenal to play for Inter which obviously has a lot more to offer to him.

Latest Transfer Rumour - David Beckham's move to AC Milan failed to materialize and will come back to join LA Galaxy when his loan finishes. The ex-Premier League's player's will not be granted with his wish to stay with AC Milan.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Tim Leiweke, president of Galaxy parent AEG, said that AC Milan did not make a second bid for Beckham. LA Galaxy rejected the first 5million offer.

"We didn't receive an offer today. We will abide by the commissioner's (Garber) wishes, so we are clear at this point that we don't want to have any further conversations," Leiweke said.

Leiweke said that there is no more hope to the deal. "The negotiations are over and we move on," Leiweke said.

"We look forward to seeing David back in camp. We need to have a good season and we need to live up to a higher expectation," Leiweke added

So there it goes. Beckham's wishes to stay will not come true. I would love to see he plays for AC Milan. I wonder why the MLS's commissioner set the dateline on Friday while the league will just start in March. I don't see any reason why. Maybe he wants Beckham to stay, as a promotion for MLS League perhaps?

It looks like Portsmouth will not sing Sven Goran Eriksson as Eriksson has been reassured over his future by Mexican Football Federation president Justino Compean.

Portsmouth is reportedly very interested to sign Eriksson. The speculation of the end of Eriksson's career with the Mexican national side mounted up when Javier Aguirre (Mexican's favourite) was sacked by Atletico Madrid. However, the reassurance given by Compean about Eriksson's future with Mexico confirmed that the rumours will just be rumours.

Compean said, "We fully stand behind Eriksson because our objective is to reach the World Cup. And we will be at the World Cup."

Eriksson said that he is determined to lead Mexico to the next World Cup. Eriksson said, "Why will I continue? Because I still have a running contract and I think that I would be a man without courage if I quit now."

There you have it Portsmouth. No Eriksson for you. So, Avram Grant will be the next target. If we can play with time, maybe this should be Grant's first job as manager rather than at Chelsea.

Darren Bent is set to consider his future with Tottenham Hotspur and reportedly considering a move OUT from the White Hart Lane. Darrent Bent failed to get his manager's favour after only managed to start 3 out of last 16 games.

Darren Bent has scored 14 goals this season but still he has not been selected to start for Tottenham. No wonder while he was not selected to play for England last Wednesday. The principle is simple, you must play regular club football to play for the national team.

Bent knows that he might have to leave Tottenham in order to get regular football. In an interview at the FA Umbro Fives Tournament Bent said, "I’m not one of those players who will just sit back and let his career pass him by."

Bent is said to have problem partnering another striker up front. He said: “I’ve spoken to the manager a couple of times about my position but I can only hear the same thing so many times."

Bent defends himself by saying that he has not been given enough time and opportunity to develop strong partnership with Pavlyuchenko. He had played with Berbatov and Keane but none had worked out for him too.

In my opinion, Bent should leave Tottenham Hotspur. He has a great talent and he should find another club where he can develop further more. His scoring tally is more than Rooney's and Heskey's.

Redknapp also did not give Bent enough chances to prove that he is capable to play with other strikers. Aquisition of Keane and Defoe further heaten up the speculation that Bent might leave Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Scolari SACKED!!

Posted by un_known | 11:02 PM | , | 0 comments »

This is my first post and it cannot be any bigger than this! LUIZ FILLIPE SCOLARI SACKED!! Luiz Filipe Scolari was sacked on Monday by Chelsea's owner Roman Abrimovich. Scolari was sacked after their goalles draw with Hull City at home on Saturday.

Some may have expected that Scolari will be sacked after Chelsea'a poor run of form. From my point of view, Chelsea looked ruthless up front. There is missing links between strikers and midfielders that forced the strikers to go deep to get the ball. Chelsea's defenders looked clueless sometimes and low performance by Cech make it even worse.

Scolari was said to have problems with the key players. Sources said that Scolari's game plan did not suited their style. Scolari's relationship with Drogba, Anelka and Carvalleho are not good. Scolari also reportedly to come late to training in a few ocassions.

Whatever the real problem is, I do expected Chelsea to sack Scolari. Scolari is not good enough to control Chelsea. It is interesting to see who will replace the sacked Scolari. Hiddink and Grant are said to be on the shortlist!
