Chelsea Transfer Rumour - Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink may stay at the club for another season if Russia fail to progress to the 2010 World Cup. Hiddink manage to lead Chelsea to win 6 out of his 7 games in charge and the players want him to stay. So far, Hiddink still insisted that he will leave the club at the end of the season and continue his duty as Russia national team manager.

Hiddink said, "I will focus on Russia after this project but people say, 'Think about it, stay',"

"I enjoy it with the Russians but I do have a clause that says we can stop in November if Russia don't qualify," he added.

Hiddink said, "Then, the Russian FA can choose another direction and I would also be free to go."

At least, there is still some hope for Chelsea fan out there to see him staying put at the club for the next season.

Chelsea Transfer Rumour - Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspurs has declared their interests to sign Brazillian winger Michel Bastos. He has showed an impressive performance with Lille in the French League this season. Lyon and Bayern Munich are also keen to sign the winger.

He is the club's top league scorer this season. He has scored 11 goals in 27 appearances.

However, he insisted he is happy in France. He just extended his contract until 2012 and keen to stay at the club as long as possible.

In an interview with L’Equipe, he said, "My head is in Lille and nowhere else. I like to enjoy my game and that’s what I do in Lille. I am respected by all the coaches and the players."

He said that he prefers to play first team football regularly and doesn't want to sit on the bench. "I know that I can play a lot here. It’s no use going elsewhere not to play," he added.

Chelsea are looking for young talents and Bastos might fit the bill. Tottenham are also looking for left winger. If they can offer him first-team football, then he will leave Lille. I think every player's dream is to play for big clubs and Bastos is not excluded from that.

Chelsea Transfer Rumours - Chelsea are trying to sign Manchester United's brightest young talent Kenji Gorre. Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen is trying to sign Gorre who is regarded as on of the best young players coming through the academy and has recently been called up for the England national team.

The club is fully committed to bring him to the club this summer. Chelsea are ready to submit an offer for the right midfielder.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Manchester City's manager Mark Hughes insisted that Robinho will stay at Manchester City, at least for another season. Robinho failed to perform at his best and many thought he will leave at the end of this season. Chelsea has hinted to sign him if he is available.

Hughes admitted Robinho needs to find some consistency especially in away games. However, he said that he has no intention to sell the Brazillian star.

In an interview with The Sun, Hughes said, "He is a key player and to say he that he is not in our long-term plans is simply mischievous. He is a great player and he wants to be successful."

He said they have to find a way of getting the best out of the team and the best out of Robinho.

"In Europe we have got away with it, in the Premier League we have not," he added.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Liverpool and Manchester City are set to compete against each other to sign Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne this summer. Mancienne's contract will expire this season and Chelsea haven't discuss about contract extension with him yet.

He will use the money to sign Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby and Tottenham's Jermain Jenas. He is also interested to sign Didier Drogba and Ricardo Carvalho.

The Mirror reported that Mourinho was asking for money to make big changes in the squad so that they can fight for the Champions League next season.

A source in Inter said, "Mourinho has made the case that the club cannot hope to fight against the English teams with the squad he was left with by Roberto Mancini."

The club directors are willing to give him anything he needs to buy the players he wants.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Barcelona defender Daniel Alves' media representative has denied rumours linking Alves with a move to Chelsea this summer. Yesterday, there were speculations suggested that Chelsea are ready to submit a mega-offer for the attacking-minded full back.

Alves's media representative have deismissed the rumours.

In an interview with the Sky Sports, he said, "Daniel Alves knows about the interest of the London club today through the article in the tabloid."

"A denial is important in order to not give the wrong impression on this matter."

Alves has moved to Barcelona from Sevilla last summer. He is in his first year of a your-contract with Barcelona.

There are still a possibility though as Alves still did not speak anything about the rumours. Currently, no official statements have been made by the club (Barcelona) or the player himself.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Atletico Madrid are set to submit an offer to Chelsea for Portuguese midfielder Deco. Chelsea had decided to sell Deco this summer. Deco may have played his last game for Chelsea last Sunday after he injured his hamstring which will set him out for the rest of the season.

He moved from Barcelona last summer for £8million.

Deco failed to impress Chelsea's owner and always been out injured. However, Atletico see him as a midfielder leader which would be useful for them to compete for the Spanish La Liga title next season.

Deco also knows that he must play regularly (which he doesn't get with Chelsea) to secure a place in the Portugal national team.

Manchester City are not denying that they are willing to listen for any offer for Robinho although Mark Hughes is still thinking that Robinho will uplift his performance this season.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Arsenal look definite to sign Chelsea's Salomon Kalou this summer. Arsenal's midfielder Emmanuel Eboue said that Salomon Kalou has set his heart playing for Arsenal next season. In my previous post, Chelsea has revealed that they are willing to consider offers for the striker.

Arsenal tried to sign the striker last summer. However Chelsea refused to sell Kalou.

Eboue has made contact with Kalou and believes that Arsenal is set to sign him this summer.

In an interview with Setanta, Eboue said, "I tell you what, Kalou has been speaking about Arsenal for a while. He wants to play for Arsenal since a long while back."

"Even when we were at the [Jean-Marc Guillou] Academy he told me about Arsenal’s attacking football," Eboue added.

Kalou has also hinted that he wants to leave Chelsea.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Inter Milan has declared their interest to sign Chelsea's defender Ricardo Carvalho. Inter has made the defender their top target this summer and willing to offer Ricardo Quaresmo to be a part of the deal.

Jose Mourinho signed Carvalho for £20million when he was at Chelsea in 2004. He is always a fan of Carvalho and would love him to play under his management at Inter.

It is unlikely for Chelsea to let their best defender go. Carvalho has formed a perfect partnership with John Terry since he arrived at Stamford Bridge.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Manchester City manager Mark Hughes admitted he is very interested to sign Chelsea defender John Terry if he is open for negotiation. He acknowledges the fact that Terry is a Chelsea man for life and admitted it is difficult to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City is backed by the wealth of Abu Dhabi United group and capable of spending more than £100million for a star player. They recently approached Kaka and offer a bid worth £100million to Milan.

However, Mark Hughes know that some players who are just be beyond any price including Terry. He admitted though that he will submit a bid if Chelsea decided to sell Terry.

Hughes said, "We have been linked with about 140 players - and John was one of them."

He admitted that Terry is an outstanding player and has many fans around the world, incuding him. "He's a great captain, a great guy and someone who commands respect because of his attitude, application and the way he leads his team," he added.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would like to freshen up his team with young players. In order to do that he plans to show the door out for players over 30-year-old including Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba, Deco, Juliano Belletti, Paolo Ferreira and Hilario.

Only Frank Lampard and Ricardo Carvalho are staying put because of their consistent and impressive performance for the club.

A source close to Abramovich said that Abramovich is frustrated after the club had failed to win the Premier League title in three years in a row.

He thinks that it is time to revitalise the squad with young players and sell players over 30.

Money gained from selling the playrs can be used to buy young and talented players.

Ballack, Drogba, Deco, Fereira and Hilario have been very disappointing this season and it is very likely that Chelsea will sell them at the end of the season.

Drogba has been heavily linked with a move to Marseille, Inter Milan and Manchester City. Ballack is linked with his former club Bayrn Munich recently.

The source also said that the club will also listen to offers for players who failed to perform well including Florent Malounda, Branislav Ivanovic and Salomon Kalou.
