Sunderland Transfer Rumour - Sunderland's Djibril Cisse said that he will stop making fuss about his future at the club. Sunderland are still haven't confirmed Cisse's status for the next season, either to buy him from Marseille for £10million or not which cause Cisse to express his frustration to the media recently.

Cisse would love to stay in England for family reasons. He is very angry when no talks about his permanent deal have taken place between Sunderland and Marseille.

Sunderland's manager Ricky Sbragia has told him to stop talking about new contracts. He insisted that at the moment they have to focus surviving the Premier League.

In an interview with Mirror.co.uk, Cisse said, "It's all right. If he wants me to stop, we will stop. We are not going to talk about it. It's no problem. It's better to know what you are doing, but the boss is the boss and we are not going to talk about it."

Newcastle United Transfer Rumour - Newcastle United are looking to sign Sunderland's keeper Craig Gordon. Newcastle wants to add more competition for Steve Harper and are considering to sign Gordon this summer. City's Joe Hart and Coventry City's Kieran Westwood also have been linked with Newcastle.

Newcastle set Gordon as their prime target this summer but are unlikely to offer anything more than £5million.

Latest Transfer Rumour - Tottenham Hotspur will make a second attempt to sign Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones. Tottenham will offer £15million for the striker. They have tried to sign the striker last January but failed.

However, Sunderland manager Ricky Sbragia insisted that Jones want to stay. He obviously want him to stay. He revealed that his strikers need to fo more if Sunderland still want to play in the Premier League next season.

A source in Sunderland told The People, "It’s clear if Harry Redknapp was to come back with the same sort of money he offered in January then Sunderland would do business this summer."

Latest Transfer Rumour - Sunderland boss Rick Sbragia does not plan to discuss with Djibril Cisse about his stay at Sunderland until they manage to be in the Premier League next season. Cisse admitted that he was irritated and wanted certainty over his future at Sunderland. He is currently on a season-long loan with the premier league side.

Sunderland had agreed to make it permanent last summer but due to the financial crisis, the move will cost them more than what they expected. Sunderland is currently in battle to stay at Premier League.

"Niall has spoken to Djibril and I have spoken to him about it, and the day everything is safe and rosy will be the day we will sit down and talk to him," Sbragia said.

"We have spoken to him umpteen times about it. My priority is to make sure Sunderland go up the table and stay in the Premier League," he added.

There has been speculation about Cisse's future at the club. Other Premier League side, Blackburn Rovers has declared their interests to sign the striker and plan to make a move this summer. However, Sbragia hopes that Cisse will stay with Sunderland.

In an interview with Sunday Mirror, Sbragia said, "I would like him to stay beyond his loan which expires at the end of May. But Djibril might not want to stay."
