Manchester United's veteren and legend, Ryan Giggs had signed one-year extension to his Manchester United contract.
Giggs has been a Manchester United player in his entire career. Eventhough he is 35 years of age, he managed to be listed in the first team of Alex Ferguson's squad. Recently, he scored crucial winner against West Ham.
In an interview in Manchester United's official website Giggs said, "I feel fit and I'm enjoying my football more than ever. This is an exciting young team and the spirit is great in the dressing room. I want to be a part of that and achieve even more success."
Manchester United's manager Sir Alex Ferguson also commented on Giggs contribution to the game and his team. "Ryan is a true professional of the game," Ferguson said.
"His lifestyle, the way he looks after himself, his desire to always want to win is a credit to him and also an inspiration to any young kid who wants to become a footballer," Ferguson said.
Ferguson admiited that Giggs would love to play in every game and at the same time knows to use his experience when it matters.
"It would be easy for him to be complacent after all he has achieved but he isn't and that speaks volumes of why the club wanted to extend his services and use that experience," Ferguson added.
